NGV Gas Continues to Grow as Demand for Compressed Natural Gas Increases

NGV Gas, the retail fuel division of CNG Holdings, continues to experience growing demand for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as fleet operators, commercial transport businesses and motorists seek reliable fuel solutions that support their operational requirements.

As demand continues to increase, NGV Gas remains committed to investing in both its infrastructure and customer experience. Most recently, the company’s flagship Langlaagte filling station underwent a refurbishment, reinforcing the professional image of the NGV Gas brand while providing customers with an enhanced forecourt environment.

A key feature of NGV Gas’ offering has been pricing consistency. The company has maintained its retail CNG price at R12.80 per litre since May 2022, while petrol and diesel prices have experienced significant fluctuations over the same period. This pricing consistency provides customers with greater certainty when planning their fuel expenditure.

NGV Gas currently supplies CNG through three strategically located filling stations across Gauteng:

•NGV Gas Langlaagte – 71 Main Reef Road, Langlaagte

•Quick Fuels Pretoria – 67 Kgosi Mampuru Street, Pretoria
•Ener-Gi John Page – 81 Margaret Mcingana Street, Johannesburg

These locations provide convenient access to CNG for commercial fleets, logistics operators, public transport services and private motorists travelling throughout the region.

“We continue to see growing interest in Compressed Natural Gas from businesses and fleet operators looking for dependable fuel solutions. Maintaining a consistent CNG price has enabled our customers to plan with greater confidence, while our continued investment in our filling stations demonstrates our commitment to delivering a positive customer experience. We remain focused on expanding access to CNG and supporting the evolving needs of our customers,” says Josua le Roux, Chief Executive Officer of CNG Holdings.

As NGV Gas continues to grow, the company remains focused on investing and expanding its facilities, maintaining high service levels and supporting customers through a dependable and accessible refuelling network.
