“Our Social and Ethics committee made a decision to make donation to sponsor a mobile library to Ivory Park Primary school in partnership with Qualibooks”, explained Khoza. We have partnered with Qualibooks because they are an efficient provider of curriculum-based library and e-library educational resources to schools and communities countrywide.
We chose Ivory Park primary School because as a previously disadvantaged school based in Tembisa, there was a need to add to the existing school resources. The mobile library was delivered at the school, and it was filled with books ranging across various reading levels to assist all grade 0 to grade 7 learners. It was received by the deputy principal, Ms. Lindiwe Baloyi and some of the learners. The learners were ecstatic to see brand new library books which they can use for reading as well as assist them in studying, doing research for their homework, projects, and assignments.
Ivory Park Primary School Deputy Principal Baloyi said on behalf of the school management, “A reading nation is a winning nation. Our wealth begins with reading. The structure and the foundation of success is laid in reading. Thank you so much Eazi Access for your generous contribution to the school which will pave a great path in the future of our learners”.
